Use the handout below to guide young students through the process of rating a web site based on its design, content, technical elements, and credibility. Complete the activity as a group many times before expecting students to complete this on their own.  Older students can each complete an evaluation and an average score can be gathered that summarizes all their opinions.  A total score can be placed in the box inside the ribbon at the top of the page to help students efficiently decide whether or not to revisit this website.  Build a collection of these evaluations over the course of a year and compile them alphabetically in a 3-ring binder that's kept near the computer station.  Encourage students to refer to this binder when looking for quality websites.
